Additionally, blow molders are trending toward lighter weight container designs that increase the need to check for defects that that could result in a leaking container.
Test requirement: Empty bottles are 100% pressure decay tested for defects which would cause a leak. Since these bottles are produced in very high volume, a high speed testing machine was needed.
CTS Solution: ALPS developed a new rotary container tester (the Next Generation Rotary) that can run a pressure decay test on up to 1 200 bottles per minute, and remove any potentially faulty containers from the conveyor filling line.
